What We Know Now About Major Jason Watson
He is under a gag order, restricted to base, and still facing an open Air Force investigation.
You probably already know what Major Jason Watson did on July 1:
He stood on the Capitol steps in uniform, held a sign reading “Impeach. Convict. Remove,” and let himself be arrested for it. He said the price was one he was willing to pay.
He is restricted to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. He can’t speak to the press. Here is where his case stands and how to stand with him.
Where his case stands
Major Watson is not in confinement, but he’s restricted to Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC. He is under a written order to not speak with the press or post about his case. Major Watson, who stood up so the rest of us would speak louder is, for now, not allowed to speak at all.
DC criminal charges have been declined for prosecution. But the Air Force investigation is open, and his attorney confirms it covers four articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice: contempt toward officials, failure to obey an order, conduct unbecoming an officer, and conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline. No charges have been formally filed and no court date is set. If this ends in a court-martial and a conviction, he could face dismissal from the Air Force, forfeiture of pay and benefits, and possible confinement.
His attorney says his position hasn’t wavered. Watson believes the administration’s conduct in Iran violates the Constitution he swore to defend, and he expects this may end in a court-martial and he is ready to meet it.

Prove him right.
For Major Jason Watson, who kept his oath.
Major Watson called himself “just a nobody.”

So proud of Jason Watson. He has backbone and more grit and ethics than most of Congress. He is brave to call out the obvious corruption and authoritarianism and fascism that is being used to override the constitution. Let face it tRump has never read the constitution and wouldn’t be able to describe intelligently what it means. He’s a greedy corrupt selfish narcissistic sociopath cult creepy leader. He’s gotta go
