I admire and respect Greta and have paid attention to all she’s done in the past and now. Thanks for reporting this. I’m very upset about how they’ve treated her, and of course also about how Israel is behaving. Also I did not know about that Pac and it’s extremely disturbing. I also very much admire and respect all the people putting the aid boat project together. I’ve written several times about Gaza and also other countries where people are starving due to the destruction of USAID. No one should ever starve, anywhere, especially children. The current administration is cruel beyond belief, and seems to get more brutal and evil with each day that passes. I recently wrote about the need for empathy in government (and really in all we do), and this bunch has none—zero. There’s something really wrong with Netanyahu too.

I’m not certain the over the top journalism about all the starving children is really true. Additionally, and this is very hard for the western world to comprehend… But Hamas uses their children as human shields!!! And what’s up about having all these underground tunnels to hide hostages below hospitals?
They have already accomplished 90% of their goal. Next will be to level Gaza and begin construction of their kingdom. Those Palestines left in the corner of the country will be their labor to rebuild. Prisoners were their ploy to keep the plot progressing.

I never thought I would be grateful that I will never have grandchildren but I am. My blood line will end with my children. I fight for yours. But I am starting to wonder if their own families won't fight for them maybe they are not worth fighting for. Sorry but my fire is starting to flicker.
This is one of those cases where lots of words are said, some bearing some relationship to the truth (what Ben-Gvir said), some half-truths (yes, flotilla showed up, not so much with any adequate food, not to mention heading into a war zone with no knowledge of what the ground situation is. Or how to distribute food. Stupid does not begin to describe this action. And made-up out of whole cloth (Greta being forced to kiss an Israeli flag? The reality is that, as the flotilla was wending its way toward Gaza, many groups have been actually getting food to the area—Israel, UAE, airdrops from a number of countries. Food is not the problem. Given Hamas, distribution continues to be difficult. The people who actually want to free Gaza, want to free Gaza from Hamas. And many Gazans are fighting back against those terrorists.
You, on the other hand, are highlighting an attention-seeker whose actions simply muddy the waters. Understand, too, that you are creating the very environment here in the US which simply demonstrates the need for a Jewish state. So well done all around!

Yes, I have to call BS on this Turkish “witness” claim that Israeli military personnel forced The Professional Innocent and Wise Green Princess to kiss an Israeli flag. Israeli military would not want her lips ever to touch their nation’s flag.
If the Turkish witness had said he’d seen Hamas force Israeli hostages to suffer rape, to endure torture, to be used as human shields, to starve in suffocating tunnels, and to die wretchedly, we could believe the Turkish witness because we have reliable proof that Hamas has done these things.
Clearly what America has stood for in most minds is not who we are today.
We need a drastic and thoughtful realignment of social, economic and humanist priorities. Of course these need to be realistically balanced against countries and non geographic players seeking to oppose such policies.
I hope the many deaths and lesser incidents, abroad (Including Thornberg) and here in the US are bringing this thinking to the forefront.
What do we, average Americans, do about this? We are hardly in a position to make our government stop sending money to Israel! We can't get them to stop taking brown people off the streets for simply being "non-white!" Do we write/call our local reps and sens and demand ... what? I am *this* 🤏 close to jumping ship on the whole USA experiment. Head down to a small tropical locale with few people and live out the rest of my days in peace, waiting for the mushroom cloud to take us out and deliver us from misery. 😣 This is absolutely so beyond heartbreaking. I weep for humanity 🙏
Oh, I know EXACTLY how you feel!! The whole situation is F’ed up, and the Asshat in the White House seems to be growing in power every day. I did a Google search for all the good things he’s done during his second term, and NOTHING CAME UP. Only a bit about “conservative people apparently think these were good things,” and then a list containing budget cuts and other inhumane edicts. The only thing I can do is to handwrite letters and postcards and send them to members of Congress. I have a feeling that if I send enough, they might take notice. And then if I send more than THAT, someone may do something about it. That’s the dream, anyway. But don’t give up! It’s not hopeless! Keep searching for ways to fight back, even if it’s just confronting a MAGA once in a while. If you lose hope, we lose you. And if we lose you, we’re all weaker because of it.
Oooooooooooh, the number of postcards that I've sent to numerous of our elected people ... well, hand cramps. LOL! Way back in March when there was a postcard sending blitz, I made a TON of them and keep them ready to write and send. It feels futile. It does. Last week was he first time that I have felt *hopeless*. Witnessing our military not standing up and doing a damn thing in the face of such inept corruption, well, it just knocked the breath out of me. And I don't *dare* utter that to folks who have lost their common sense or, hell, who never had any at the start. Cuz we don't need for any cracks to be showing in our armor. Not at all! I've called, emailed, sent postcards, attended rallies, clapped back at the personal MAGA folks whom I know, and I stay informed (sometimes to the detriment of my own mental wellness). It seems like he is growing stronger instead of being defeated. The Royal Family certainly did not do us any favors! Contrarily, I feel that it made him feel emboldened. And he has been on a mission to steamroll his way even faster through the total destruction of our way of life. Discouraged. And this is not like me!
