Remember who MTG really is and who she represents: herself. She also now knows that the real power is not Trump but rather the Heritage Foundation and the billionaire Oligarchs. As always…the rich get richer.

Let’s see her next move. I see $, not ethics driving her decision to step aside.

Cowards who take the money and run. If they were not they would stand up and oppose the fascist. Twenty three votes are far more than the number required to replace Johnson as Speaker.

MTG used politics to provide herself with a very cushy future, nice work if you can get it isn't it. Never mind the rest of us. Outside the beltway of power we are of no importance. She is no less a fraud than any of the others. Also, in the rush to find who will save the Democrats be cautious of which Trump opponent has the honest credentials. Let's focus on 2026 to replace Republicans in Congress with actual progressive representation. That can solidify the efforts to actually remove Trump and his enablers. Freedoms always are the values worth defending without giving up.

I fear it won't matter because the 2026 elections will not be free or fair. A number of newsletters I follow are predicting this, plus it seems inevitable to me. We're going to need to overthrow no violently (I hope/believe), but not through the channels we're familiar with.

She should run again so he and his PAC have to pay tons of money to defeat her. Hit him where he hates it the most, in his wallet.

MTG can’t be trusted she was the worst of the worst and took no prisoners. Now she sees what happens when you cross Trump and she doesn’t like it. It was fine when it was directed at Democrats or other people. She made a lot of money kissing his ass. It’s certainly not about the insurance increase for her son as she can afford unlike the other millions of people it’s going to effect

She was one of the top maga leaders, championing their leaders vile hate, division, and anti democratic agenda. Her fight to have the Epstein files released is admirable and at least removes some of her tarnish. But she still supports everything else he is doing so it is good that she no longer has a vote in Congress.

She got what she wanted. Insider trading, enviable lifetime entitlements like pension and healthcare, a megaphone. She did absolutely nothing for the American people. She is a coward. She gets a little heat from Mr Piggy and she wimps out and runs. The only thing she did or said that was admirable was to stand up for the victims of trump, Epstein and the other child sex abusers who ran in that circle, and I suspect that she has something up her sleeve in that regard. Disgusting

They should be fighting him, opposing him at every level, but no, Republicans do what they do best. Their dicks & balls shrink to marble size and run like hell.

Fucking COWARDS! 😡

It’s about time! I’d love to see all walk out and all working Americans take a week off. Let Trump and govt see how much we need working Americans not rich people buying their way into the US.

I think we can't forget who she has been since she came to Congress. She will probably leave and go to work for one of the consulting firms as a lobbyist after she tries to run for President.
