No Kings Day | Over 7 Million Americans
Trump answered with an AI video of himself, dumping feces on protesters.
TL;DR: On October 18, 2025, organizers of “No Kings Day” more than 7 million people took part in over 2,700 events across all 50 states. While still unverified as the numbers continue to come in, that would make it one of the largest single-day protest movements in U.S. history. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump responded by posting an AI-generated video of himself as “King Trump” flying a jet and dropping a brown-liquid on protesters.
Inside the Numbers: No Kings Day by the Data
So far, organizers have reported over 7 million people who attended the NO KINGS rallies across the country, which would mark one of the largest single-day nationwide demonstrations in U.S. history. Over 2,700 protest events unfolded across all 50 states, (and the globe!) with multiple events in major cities. Independent crowd scientists estimate between 5.2 and 8.2 million participants, while we await final verification from the Crowd Counting sources.
What we know for certain: This latest round saw over 2 million more participants than June’s protests, which drew an estimated 5 million according to official resources. The movement reached deeper into Trump-voting areas than at almost any time during his first administration, according to a Harvard Kennedy School analysis.

Some Highlights That Defined The Day
Boston:
A massive crowd filled Boston Common for the No Kings demonstration, where Senator Elizabeth Warren joined protesters in denouncing authoritarianism and celebrating the city’s revolutionary legacy.

New York City:
The NYPD confirmed over 100,000 peaceful participants across the city’s five boroughs, with no major arrests reported, a remarkable feat for an event of that scale.

Washington, D.C.:
The flagship rally took place along the National Mall, where organizers anticipated more than 100,000 attendees near the Capitol. Final tallies are still pending, but turnout easily filled the Mall’s central expanse. A major moment of the day: Senator Bernie Sanders took the stage.

San Francisco:
In San Francisco on Oct. 18, 2025, thousands gathered at Ocean Beach for the ‘No Kings’ protest. Demonstrators formed a massive human banner spelling ‘NO KINGS’ and ‘YES ON 50’, with the U.S. flag between the words, creating a striking image of peaceful resistance.

Portland, Maine:
In Maine, thousands rallied statewide, including a large gathering in Portland that coincided with the 250th anniversary of British attacks on the city, linking past struggles for freedom to the present.

The Presidential Response
As 7 million Americans peacefully assembled to defend democracy, as families marched with children on their shoulders, as veterans led chants of “USA! NO KINGS!” President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video of himself on Truth Social Saturday night flying a fighter jet and dumping a feces-like brown liquid on “No Kings” protests.
As Kenny Loggins’s song “Danger Zone” plays in the background, a jet with the words “King Trump” written across, flies over Times Square in New York City dropping the brown-liquid over protesters.
CNN host Manu Raju sought to deflect blame for broadcasting the clip by reminding viewers: “I just have to warn our Sunday morning viewers here, this is the president of the United States posting this.”
Activist Harry Sisson, who appears to be shown in the video receiving the brown-liquid dump, later asked: “Can a reporter please ask Trump why he posted an AI video of himself dropping poop on me from a fighter jet? That would be great thanks.”
“Boston knows a thing or two about kings.
We know that in America, there are no thrones.
No crowns. And NO KINGS.
We’ve known since 1773 when Boston threw tea into the harbor.
We’ve known since 1776 when Boston pushed King George’s army out of our city.
We’ve known since 1787 when we helped draft the Constitution of the United States.”
- Senator Elizabeth Warren
What They Expected
The Opposition Expected:
House Speaker Mike Johnson called it the “Hate America rally,” saying “Let’s see who shows up for that,” listing groups including “antifa types”, people who “hate capitalism”, and “Marxists in full display”.
The Actual Turnout:
In many places the events looked more like a street party. There were marching bands, huge banners with the U.S. Constitution’s “We The People” preamble that people could sign.
American flags everywhere, more than at a Fourth of July parade
Demonstrators wearing inflatable costumes, particularly frogs, which have emerged as a sign of resistance originating in Portland, Oregon.
Families, veterans, elderly celebrants, and first-time protesters standing together.
The Path Forward
As the No Kings Day protests mobilized millions across the country, the movement’s message resonated loudly. As Senator Bernie Sanders told the crowd: “We’re here because we love America.”
The coalition exists, the energy is palpable, and we are are showing up.
We are a movement of hope for a better future.
True Patriotism
What could be more American than the peaceful assembly of citizens? What could be more patriotic than defending the Constitution? What could be more loving of country than saying: We can do better and we will fight for our country.
The action mirrored historic moments of protest: the Boston Tea Party wasn’t anti-Britain, it was for representation. The suffragettes weren’t anti-America either, they were for democracy. The civil-rights marchers didn’t reject patriotism, they fulfilled the promise of the Constitution.
🌍 The World is Standing With Us
The message did not stop at America’s borders.
This was a global declaration: democracy matters, everywhere.
Hundreds abroad stepped into the streets in shared principle.
When the people of America said, “No Kings,” they did so with the world watching, and the world listening.
The world is standing with us.
We Have Strength in Numbers
7 Million is not a small number.
2,700 registered events with this kind of turnout is not something MAGA is capable of. According to general media coverage, the demonstrations were “largely peaceful” with no major reports of widespread violence or mass arrests besides MAGA instigators.
The movement appears to have grown from its previous iteration in June (which organizers estimated at about 5 million participants) a difference of roughly 2 million more claimed this time.
Let’s not forget our President’s response was an AI-generated video of himself wearing a crown, seated in a fighter jet marked “King Trump,” dropping brown S*** on protesters.
We’re not as powerless as we sometimes feel.
We’re not as alone as we occasionally think.
We’re not as divided as they try to make us believe.
Senator Adam Schiff told ABC News that he was struck by a sign reading “silence is compliance.”
“We cannot be silent with this increasing militarization of our cities, the abuse of the Justice Department and the dismantling of science,” he said.
“People need to speak out, and it’s wonderful millions around the country are speaking out today.”
When the original American patriots dumped tea into Boston Harbor in protest of taxation without representation, they were defending the principle that no person is above the law. On October 18, 2025, protesters carried flags through American streets to declare: leadership without accountability is still unacceptable.
The difference between a protest and a revolution isn’t Day 1. It’s Day 16, Day 58, Day 100, Day 1,000… Change doesn’t always happen fast.
We need to stick together, and we need to coordinate.
Change takes time.
Let’s make history remember that this is the land of the free, and it is created and shaped by us, the people.
If you weren’t there, you didn’t miss the movement, you’re just in time to join it for the next coordinated action:
Remember they called the American revolutionaries extremists too.
History vindicated them.
It will vindicate us.
And when they literally depict themselves dropping feces on peaceful protesters?
They’re telling you exactly who they are and where they stand.
