I live in southern California and I have been trying to build a local capacity , we already have a neighborhood watch group but my neighbors think that is enough and they don’t want to do more , I will post this in our neighborhood watch group so they can follow this advice, thank you for the enormous help, I thank you with all my heart.
Yes to all this except the word enforcement in the first para. Enforcement is the process of ensuring rules, laws, regulations, or standards are followed, involving actions by authorities (like police, courts, regulators) to compel compliance... Here we have something else, not enforcement with the implication of operating inside legal systems. I'm struggling for that other word... Retribution? Paramilitary control? Let's come up w a better would and use it instead.
Our organizing group has concerns of utilizing Meta products and other non-secured avenues to get the word out. Some of the population not savvy to more secure avenues to get the word out. How do we transition the group? The name of our group was also thrown together April 25 when making a Facebook page to alert local people of actions. We want to simplify the name- how do we do this and still retain those who know the name- now easily googled etc…?
