BUT… WE MUST DO MORE!!!!
One large protest every few months won’t move the needle. We need to be resisting EVERY DAY with economic boycotts; with calls to our Congressional representatives and senators; with calls to our governors and attorneys general. We need to be openly calling for the Trump regime to STAND DOWN and stop attacking 60-70% of the country.
And elect the smart, fair and committed citizens who are running for a local, state and national offices.
That is the end result of everything in our participating Democracy. There are Municipal Elections on November 4th, find a candidate, help and support with communicating with everyone you know on the internet.
Based on comments from regime I think we should change the Oct 18th protest name to “Love America No Kings Rally”. That way their “Hate America” accusation will not hold any weight.

Honestly, I think the idea of incorporating that we love America into the signage is a great idea. They have stolen the flag as a symbol and now the haters want to pin their hatefulness on us. Can we spread the word to tell people to carry flags and signs that say “We love America - no Kings”?
I'm headed out with my Donald Trump toilet brush and sign. I hope I fellow baby boomers hit the streets and give it what we gave our protest years ago over Vietnam! I hope this is massive ! The US Constitution should be read aloud at every gathering. It is what it's all about. People are protesting the regime that violates the Constitution and separation of powers and is taking away our rights.

Led by the lifelong racist Donald Trump, these MAGAts are trying to convert the USA’s Constitutional Republic into a Fascist, Christian-Nationalist, White-Supremacist Kleptocracy to be ruled in perpetuity by the Trump Family Crime Syndicate.
To the delight of MAGA Republicans, and in direct contravention of the Constitution, Trump has banned all criticism of his criminal acts, his person, and his Presidency.
The overwhelming majority of Americans reject Trump’s attempt to eliminate their constitutionally guaranteed right of freedom of speech. This majority will not rest until the criminal Trump is impeached, removed from office, prosecuted, convicted, and thrown into prison.
We should shift our stance from us against them (dems vs republicans) to “we the people for the people by the people…” Get away from the finger pointing and back stabbing to reinforcing what unites us.
October 18 is a day in which tens of millions of people are listening. Let’s give them something more than general statements of outrage. Give them focus and hope by articulating a 2-prong strategy to stop the regime and take control of government in the name of the people.
Announce a nation-wide slate of progressive candidates running for Congress and state offices across the country- all of those smart, regular people who have, or will now announced their candidacy. A day to begin a coordinated and unified campaign to uplift, inspire and unite the American public to stand together against injustice.
Call out to the Armed Forces to intervene to stop this lawless and brutal authoritarian regime. With every other government security force obedient to the king, even state and local police, there’s no other power to protect the integrity of the nation and the safety of its people. It would be unprecedented for the military to turn against the president, so they’re hesitant to take unilateral actions. They need us to ask…
Doing the same thing over and over while expecting better results is truly ridiculous. The US protesting population needs to make Oct. 18th a REAL protest- literally EVERYDAY we are being stripped of more rights. Please make it a FINANCIAL protest: As of Oct.18 no one should go to work, no financial transactions, no spending or buying. No one can be arrested for staying home, and yet, of course, don’t answer the door!
And most importantly, no 12-2:00 pm time limits- any real protest continues and holds the line until there is a REAL change. Peaceful yes, but much more efficient and long -lasting. It may take weeks but this is the final chance for US Democracy, I.e., there won’t be a chance for true elections!
Anyone who is against a “No Kings” March is a a pawn for an authoritarian/ Facist/ unalives people for disagreeing with an overbearing government/ pawn.
