This is how power avoids saying the quiet part out loud.

It rewrites the rules. It raises the standards. It makes discrimination harder to prove — and then calls the outcome neutral.

A district works. A candidate wins. And then it gets erased.

That’s not procedure. That’s control.

The 14th amendment states that

when the right to vote at any election is denied to any inhabitant, the basis of representation shall be reduced proportionally. The supreme Court has violated this amendment at will since its inception. It's way past time to accept the results of the Civil War.

As an 88 year old retired person my only way to protest on May Day is not to buy anything. This I shall observe. With over 300 million people in America, a general strike is next to impossible to accomplish. Too many variables to consider. Even so, whatever efforts we can demonstrate will have a meaning. Each day begins with dread of what the next trauma will be against our democracy. Our lawless Supreme Court is of no use anymore. Adding insult to injury our government is corrupt to its core and the highest court in America is controlled by a majority of justices without honor. Such is the descent of America into the depths of degradation.
