Your police department has clearly run amok by shooting into a car, killing a baby and critically injuring an adult for the alleged crime of stealing diapers from Walmart. It’s time to make changes in your Department policy to moderate police actions of minor infractions with deadly intent. Shame on the Department and the city for allowing this kind of treatment of your citizens. That officer needs to be relieved from duty no questions asked for that hateful behavior. Was the officer white? We can see that the mother and child were black. Wasn’t this really a hate crime? Weren’t the victims targeted because of their color? Were they running for their lives from police brutality? This is not what our country stands for.
