This past weekend, more than 3,000 No Kings Vote Early events took place across the country.
You showed up and made this the largest early-voting event in U.S. history. This is part of how we stop Trump, his administration, and their billionaire allies from consolidating power. And you didn’t just vote early: we saw massive No Kings marches which is a clear sign our community is strong and fighting back.
Many of you told us you didn’t know there was a No Kings event. Many of you have also heard that Meta took down a No Kings Instagram account the day of the event. This is just more evidence that they’re using algorithms to suppress us.
No Kings Vote Early wasn’t originally meant to be a march. Its goal was to encourage everyone, everywhere, to VOTE EARLY. It was a call to action to vote, not necessarily to march but many organizers took it upon themselves to turn it into rallies and marches to energize their communities and get more people to the polls.
The fact that they tried to silence a No Kings Instagram account on a national day of action tells us they’re nervous of our collective power. They know there are more of us than them, and we’re fired up and ready to VOTE THEM OUT!
Finish this sentence: “I voted early because.….”
On Saturday, October 17, we received countless videos and photos to our inbox of events and people sending us messages letting us know that they voted and encouraged friends and family to vote as well. Sure, not everyone was happy with the choice of action but with midterms only 2 weeks away, this felt like the most appropriate way to mobilize in an effective way to help limit election fraud. Election fraud is rare, but it does happen, and the best way to prevent it is to VOTE EARLY.

I always vote early, and it is so important this election. My early vote is one thing I can control in this chaos, and I need to feel some control.
