The surest way to get Democrats elected in November?

Defer spending until after the election.

If the economy is suffering between now and November, Democrats will be ensured victory.

The real star of the American economy is consumer spending, which accounts for 68% of GDP

Stop spending now, except on essentials. Defer spending, as much as possible, especially on big ticket items, until after the election.

Shop, but don’t buy. Defer that gratification for a short while.

It’s important to stop spending now so there will be two quarters of bad economic news before the election.

“It’s the economy, stupid” as James Carville famously told Bill Clinton. It was then, and still is, in politics. The reelection of His Royal Heinous is largely attributed to the state of the economy, misrepresented as it was by HRH.

HRH will not destroy the economy on his own (TACO). He’s already retreating from his ill conceived war with Iran because of the damage it’s doing to the economy.

He will find a way to prop it up (like lower interest rates) because the economy is his key to keeping power.

We're too comfortable as Americans, shopping is our distraction. I wish more people would wake up to this...

The fascist takeover will not be stopped without sacrifice.

100%, but there aren't enough of us willing to do so, yet.

I am resisting because I believe in liberty and justice for all. Not just rich white men. I sacrificed my health and earning potential in service to this country because of this belief. I took an oath to the Constitution and to defend this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. I do it because it’s the right thing. I will not sit by and let a fascist regime destroy our nation, our freedoms and commit genocide.

I will fight to the last breath to save democracy in our wonderful country that so many brave warriors sacrifice their lives for.

Thank you for your service🇺🇸

I will attend as many protests as I can to stand up for my grandkids. We demand a sustainable future for them.

I will march as far as I can...to reclaim strength.

So my grandchildren can live in a better world! To protest and protect the constitution. To get the damn Epstein filed fully released and hold people accountable!

I will March so power will know it is checked.

I have shown up to every No Kings march because as a retired American history teacher her who taught the Holocaust every year, I want my students to know I was not a bystander and stood up for the hard fought freedoms we studied. This is not the America I taught them to honor.

Absolutely! Helping with the protest as a safety marshal. 🇺🇸💙

My I'm a loudmouthed American and how dare you treat our citizens as disposable. 👇

Because of the corruption and blatant cruelty this administration takes pleasure in.

My selfish how dare you be born on the same day as me reason. 👇

For desecrating our flag, our democracy and using our military as pawns and props.

We march because we must. Our numbers continue to increase, our strength is showing. We shall succeed as history will record our resolve to defend our freedoms from the amoral attempts to stifle us. And as we stand against Trump and all the heidious actions he's brought upon us, it's worth noting a recent article in Fortune magazine. America is insolvent. Our assets are a little more than six trillion dollars, out debts exceed forty five trillion dollars. By any accounting we are broke. And the master of bankruptcy is in charge. Could this be a conundrum? Stay tuned.

I'm showing up! I hate seeing what the regime is doing to our country and our people. I write to my congress people several times a week. I'm part of a Visibility Brigade bringing messages on overpasses to commuters. I go to a weekly protest as often as I can, and others as they pop up. I'm in this for the long haul. Hopefully my grandchildren will be able to live in a more sane world.

I organized because this is NOT normal. Will I help flip my red state blue? Probably no but courage to stand up and say 'no, enough' is contagious. I believe I am igniting a flame to change.

First they came for the Communists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews

And I did not speak out

Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me

And there was no one left

To speak out for me

I am showing up for many different reasons. I am 72 years old, and in horrible health but I will be there. I have no children of my own , but I do have a lot of family. They won't stand up so I will. My father served him WW1. Our military has fought in so many senseless wars , and it's about time it stopped.
