I would like info on issues i shoukd be writing my Senators and Reps about. If you could include that in your mailings that would be great!

Thank you for saying this. Having clearer issue-based actions would make it easier for many people to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

I started a Visibility Brigade for our area last summer. We've done 50 messages over local Interstates and Highways so far, and we'll do another one today. Sometimes I get weary and discouraged, but dancing on the bridge and hearing all the honks and seeing hands wave in support is a serotonin boost!

Thank you for sharing this! I love that even when it feels tiring, those moments of support and visibility help refill the tank a bit. :)

I finally made the break with Amazon and Whole Foods. I drive by the WF almost every day and making a conscious choice not to go in feels good. I’ve been calling my Congressional Delegation regularly using the 5 Calls App. They are not

listening but I take comfort in knowing they’ve never experienced this kind of dissatisfaction. Im supporting a few independent media sources. I appreciate what 50501 is doing in my community and plan to get more deeply involved.

I am postcarding in critical elections wherever it is needed. A lot of it is community level (school boards, judges, etc.)

Thank you for doing that work. It is easy for local elections to get overlooked, but they are often where so much of the real groundwork happens.

It feels good to be in the fight, even if quietly by the choices we make every day!

Building community, speaking out, supporting nonprofits and organizations that help others and spreading joy when possible help me to feel like I can be in this fight.

Protest! Vote with my dollars! Building community! And Mutual Aid!

Not able to attend protests but doing what I can in other ways, Phone calls, emails, signing petitions, postcards, voting in local and state primaries, donations to local, state and federal candidates in swing districts, donations to environmental groups, civil rights groups and food bank. A little bit here, a little bit there but I hope it will help to make a difference.

We are a small rural mountain town in Northern California. We are building community by helping our local foodbank, and holding a weekly Democracy Vigil for over a year which has helped grown our Indivisible membership from 20 to 400. More volunteers to do more things! We have held rallies and protests, including each No Kings event.

Boycotting Amazon, Target and Home Depot. Many people have Amazon accounts. Cancel them and shop the way you did before. Locally. Join the local activist group Indivisible. You will get weekly actions to take. Resist!

My wife and I are retired and we are doing public protests nearly every day. Our favorite activity is wearing our anti- Trump/Republican shirts as we walk around the downtown traffic circle in our town. We also wear our shirts in public nearly all the time, and our car has anti-Trump magnets on all 4 sides.

Every effort is worthwhile. The ones who want to control others count on the fatigue of protests to be self defeating. We are weary and discouraged but intent on our direction to pursue truth and justice. The hardest battle is to win the minds of those who are convinced they are not making mistakes with their support of amoral individuals leading them into disasters. The pen is mightier than the sword, Thomas Paine is proof positive. A person's character is tested by adversity and character counts for far more than mere personality. We are overwhelmed with personalities and desperately in need of persons of character. Honor and integrity are thrown aside in the greedy pursuit of more money than anyone can even comprehend. Do you actually know what a million dollars is, a billion dollars, now we talk about trillion dollars? It is mind boggling yet the oligarchs are never satisfied. Exactly what is the purpose? America is bankrupt, simply put, our debts far exceed our assets. And now we are led by a man more adept at bankruptcy than at humanity. The absurdity of it would be comical if it wasn't so damn tragic.

This is exactly it.

When people feel like they have to do everything, they end up doing nothing. But systems don’t rely on one action—they rely on widespread passivity.

This is how momentum actually builds.

Not through one big action—but through enough people deciding to act where they are.

Doing the entire list when and wherever I can. Feeling more hope that WE THE PEOPLE, still have some of our democracy still and have the potential to save it!
