Mostly I hear “I’ve never been to a protest before,” but folded in that statement may also be reluctance tied to safety. I tell people how great it feels to be with others energized to change the country. But in case there’re concerns about safety, I’ll share protests are peaceful, joyful and police are there to protect.

We're weary, worn out, worried about the future, but determined and unbroken in our resolve to save our freedoms. It's so easy to become defeated when facing the obstacles we must overcome. Even easier to allow our anger and hurt to take over our self control. But self control is of utmost importance because without it we only add to the discord around us. Therein lies the danger. Demonstrate without reactionary actions if confronted by the Trumpers. The safety of all of us depends upon it. Quench their fire with a strong stand in defense of America. True patriotism is protecting humanity. Destiny is determined by honor and integrity. These are what we represent. Never lose sight of that.
