I wrote letters at the local Unitarian Universalist Church, with about 50 other people. If my calculations are correct, we probably wrote and addressed letters to about 1,000 people in Wisconsin, for VoteRiders Wisconsin. It was much more fun than writing 100 postcards alone on my couch! (And then paying for the stamps.) This time somebody else (the Church? VoteRiders?) picked up the tab for postage, so we all spent 2 happy hours accomplishing something worthwhile. A happy Sunday for me.
Great gathering in Tucson AZ on Friday for the evict Juan Ciscomani fiesta. We had about 250-400 folks party up in the desert heat. Juan is the regime's local puppet, who of course is not talking to his constuents while also taking $1.25 million from AIPAC.
Pike County Pa we had a full weekend of good trouble Friday evening. We did a fascist human slideshow Saturday. We did two demonstrations Anti Ice especially our ice detention center here in Pike County and on Sunday. We did an ice out bridge brigade.
Fort Lauderdale, Florida showed up at the UCC Church for a well developed program, great speakers, a food drive and march. We didn't spend a lot of time outside with the crazy summer temps, but still had an opportunity to engage. Thank you to the sponsors who donated lots of food and drink for us, the speakers who presented and the amazing volunteers.
I'm glad to see you mentioned postcarding in your post. I've been writing hundreds of postcards for the last 3 years. And truthfully for us introverts it's a way to contribute to the resistance and feel like we are making a difference.
My code : 485753. Your Good Trouble event in my town was a NO SHOW ! I went to the pedestrian bridge near El Dorado courthouse at the announced time. Nobody was there. Something is very wrong.

Lansing, Detroit, Grand Rapids had AOC, Bernie, Abdul (Senate candidate) and Will Lawrence and other House of Rep candidates! Great crowds, inspiring!
In the late Lindsay Graham’s hometown of Seneca, SC, nearly a hundred of us waved signs…some sang..and we all celebrated our right of free speech.
Saturday at Lawrenceburg Indiana, rally at the main downtown exit off the highway. Great energy, lots of honks and waves and cheers.
It was festive, lots of positive support from passing cars and only two that called us lovers, glad I went D.J. was assume.
We held a beautiful vigil in West Hartford with singing, candles and an open mic with lots of sharing and coming together!
Thank you. That helps a little!
Wrote and mailed postcards!
