What an historic reflection of our society - a Department of Justice that offers an “out” to sexual abusers of children. How is America great again?

The question is how long have they been doing this? This may just be the most public occurrence. We need to take advantage of this situation to fix a broken system.

There will be many broken systems exposed when he is done (education, healthcare, immigration, capitalism, to name a few); this one may be the most egregious and harmful.

I’m in Italy at the moment. People are watching and waiting. America under Donald Trump and his band of merry sycophants is no longer a beacon of anything. We will not recover our status in the world until we are cleansed of this monstrous group, and even then I believe our recovery will take decades.

No they’re not. It’s been scrubbed. The senate never unanimously does anything.

You seem to have overlooked an important detail. (Unless I missed you mentioning it.) The House bill explicitly exempts material that is involved in a current investigation. This point is very pertinent. Why? Because the fact the bill itself makes this point will make it much more difficult to fight the regime's obstruction in court. We know full well from the timeline of events that Don's new assignment to the Southern District of New York (pursuant to the President's order to go after Democrat suspects) is bogus and disingenuous. The problem is that courts are reluctant to rule that way preemptively. So Congress donated a fig leaf to DJT.

I don’t think the article mentions that portion, but it does mention that Trump ordered additional investigations only a few days before the vote happened, thank you for the additional clarification!

As Shakespeare wrote, “Something is rotten in Denmark.” That the DOJ can withhold information deemed tied to an ongoing investigation explains the sudden about-face by tRump now claiming he’ll sign the bill. I fear this will be yet another travesty of justice in the making for the Epstein survivors and their families.

Epstein did not commit suicide!

In my humble opinion…..

Ghislaine Maxwell was indicted in the summer of 2020, when Trump was President. She was convicted in December 2021, when Biden was President. During her trial, there was absolutely no reason for her to speak about Trump (had she even been asked about Trump during her trial, which I doubt happened) since EVERYONE was already aware that Trump was going to run for a second term. I’d go all-in on a bet that she would never saying anything about Trump’s involvement with Epstein and the young girls that were sexually abused BECAUSE she well knew that Trump, if he became President again, would pardon her. He would pardon her as a quid-pro-quo thank you for keeping her mouth shut.

Moving along, Blanche’s visit to inmate Ghislaine Maxwell to “so-called” interview her was, I think quite obviously, Trump’s initiative to persuade Maxwell to keep her mouth shut about Trump’s involvement with Epstein and the sexually abused young girls. Say no bad, say only good, and you will be rewarded. And, the reward? Step 1 – move Maxwell, a convicted, sex-crime felon, from a real prison to an inmate-playland farm. Step 2 is still to come. For Step 2, Trump will pardon Maxwell. A completion of the “quid-pro-quo thank you” for Maxwell keeping her mouth shut about Trump’s involvement with Epstein and the young girls that were sexually abused.

And, finally, on the subject of Epstein’s supposed suicide. Epstein did not commit suicide. Epstein was murdered in his prison cell. Epstein’s second indictment took place in 2019, when Trump was President. Epstein pleaded not guilty to all charges. Only a month later, Epstein was found dead in his prison cell. Trump did not order the murder of Epstein. The murder of Epstein was ordered by Vladimir Putin. That murder was likely carried out by Russian Mafia. You might ask why Putin ordered the elimination of Epstein; a reasonable question. There is no question that Putin has a pile of kompromat on Donald Trump. That pile began when Trump visited Russia years ago. Putin knows exactly what (dirty stuff) Trump did when visiting Moscow. Putin was well aware that Russian Oligarchs and Russian Mafia laundered money through Trump’s real estate projects, adding to the pile of kompromat. Putin, through Russian intelligence gathering activities, was very aware of Trump’s (dirty) activities with Epstein and the young girls. Recall the two-hour, one-on-one, behind-closed-doors meeting Trump had with Putin early on, recall Russia’s (proved) interference in the 2016 election to help Trump get elected, recall Trump leaving that early-on meeting where Trump came out and said that Russia did not interfere in the election, recall Trump pulling economic, intelligence and weapons support from Ukraine, recall Trump promising Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine (which, of course, never happened), and EVERYONE knows that Trump’s “so-called” peace plan for the war Russia started against Ukraine would force Ukraine to give up Ukrainian territory to Russia. Which we know is “appeasement”. Just what Neville Chamberlain did with Adolf Hitler. The only conclusion that any intelligent person could possibly come up with – Putin, in no way shape for form, wanted ANYONE other than himself to have control over Donald Trump. Epstein was a threat to that. Putin had Epstein murdered. Trump is Putin’s Puppet.

Before he leaves the presidency, Trump will issue pro-active pardons to every one of his loyalists in the U.S. government. He will also pardon himself.

In many ways this 'show' is just to appease falsely that they care about the survivors, but when all the pertinent info is extracted or redacted, covering up names that matter, these Epstein files no longer carry the substantial validation that they once did & these courageous women survivors will once more not receive the justice they deserve. It's so sad that they truly wanted this to finally be over, celebrate their chance for a victory & guilty parties pay for the violations against them, but it won't happen (the reason the WH began a new investigation into Dems involved to postpone even more once again) to string this along & falsely give the impression that GOP actually cared about these women or breaking this ring of sex trafficking-ain't gonna happen. It's sickening & disgusting the games the government plays with real people's lives and possibility of healing or change. It’s a sham, this cover-up (I believe) will continue, under the guise that they're working on it, investigating. Most of us see the truth & in part, know the guilty & each survivor (& victim) have spoken out & books have been written, interviews, recorded info has shown us that no matter what - too many of the rich & famous will once again get by - get off and no consequences will take place, even with the Epstein files released (because they are all cleaned up just like the speaker claims he wanted the senate to do, of the names of the innocent - no, it was the names of the guilty that they wanted time to remove or fix).
