I'm angry and bitterly disappointed. We worked hard. We were winning. Our own side stabbed us in the back.

I hear you. A “maybe” on our healthcare feels like betrayal..

K. Starling shared this about the 4 that might be open to changing to no.

These eight senators voted “Yes.” Call and tell them to vote “No.” Sources have indicated that Kaine, Rosen, Shaheen, & Hassan may be open to voting “No” on the second vote.

I am sickened by this betrayal of senators!! It’s a sad day when the democrats cave for no good reason and in January have to do this again. Ridiculous!! What was 40 day shutdown for anyway?? Dems were with you, waiting it out during the longest government shutdown in our history, for What?? It was a waste of time and energy!

I have the list of 8 and I will respond accordingly. But this is all BS and I like a lot of Americans are fed up!

With Donald Trump as our president, why wouldn’t every Democrat vote against anything this cretin tries to do?? I’m at a loss.

I expected this of Fetterman because he is a maga liar!

I am overwhelmed with anger. People have sacrificed for 40 days for a “maybe”??!! I believe that it was the 8’s corporate donors, not their constituents,

that made them cave. Vote them out!

What a bunch a cowards- and worse yet, when nothing comes of the “promised” vote on ACA subsidies, the Republicans will escape accountability AGAIN when we blame these 8. And they deserve the blame for rolling over, but I won’t forget how we got here. We won’t forget!

Spineless sellouts. 40 days of wasted pain and suffering. I feel certain we will gain nothing in the long run. We had them on the ropes. The Republican Senate can now “keep their word” and yet the House can refuse to vote in mid-December and ACA subsidies will be gone. Without subsidy my monthly premium will rise $1500 for lousy bare minimum coverage that also has a $10,000 deductible.

It’s not a done deal — there is still time to STOP it. Yesterday’s vote wasn’t the end of the shutdown—it was a procedural move to advance the deal. Don’t let them sell this as progress when it’s capitulation wrapped in Senate formality.

Call. Flood the lines. Remind every so-called representative that believing a compromise with this regime is possible is pure delusion.

Nevada residents—especially you—light up those phones. Rosen and Cortez-Masto need to remember who they work for. The people are the power. Always have been.

How dare you collapse now, senator fetterman! My health insurance premiums will now go through the roof! What was all the fighting for? You just caved and it was only a matter of a few more days and I feel millions of people could have kept their health insurance. Shame. I will be voting you out!

These particular Democrats are not ending a crisis. They are extending a crisis.

Tuesday’s election told us that the majority of Americans who vote are done with this administration. And the ones who were asleep, have woken up.

What was the purpose of the past 40 days? It sucked. And it will continue to suck because times are hard on everyone except for the rich.

We will not see ACA extensions for three years if these Democrats push the vote over the final line and agree to this.

Three years at a minimum. Our health system will collapse because people will choose a roof over their heads and food on the table over outrageously priced healthcare premiums.

People will get sick and people will die, people will go bankrupt and hospitals will be on the hook for medical costs the people cannot afford to pay.

We will all suffer the results of this healthcare catastrophe whether we have insurance or not.

So no. They are not averting a crisis. We need a real solution. We need the ACA subsidies extended. Stop paying Argentina 40 BILLION DOLLARS and start paying Americans… That’s a start.

It’s time we remove every single leftover old neoliberal asshat. WE are the Democratic Party, and those old lobby money sucking fucking crooks do NOT represent us. We need to primary every old fossil that refuses to move their ass out of office. ENOUGH with the fucking multi-millionaire boomers! Get these pricks out.
