I am in Mississippi and I want to know what I can do to really help. we have such little turnout to protest that it gets no attention. there has to be more I can do

Thank Heavens I live in a gated community where no one can enter without proper id and a reason to enter (workmen, visitor, resident). If ICE tried to enter we have a community-wide alert system! We also are a close-knit community where everyone watches out for each other bc we are naturally vulnerable for many reasons. We have a gate and security arm at the entrance and exit. I feel extremely lucky!!!

During the military regime here, you showed your CƩdula de Identidad, and the police/soldier took it, read it, and gave it back wishing you a good day. Strangely, you felt safe. You could even get out at night. As long as weren't on the terrorist list.
