It seems that people are so fatigued with the constant barrage of BS this administration throws at us daily, there's not as much open discussion about what to do about it. I'm at a loss as well. I write, I read I vote, I demonstrate. I'm worried sick.
Yes, this season feels different. I am concerned that results will be rejected and overturned in favor of the ruling party, and our voices will be ignored. GET OUT AND VOTE!
I find if folks aren’t directly affected -ie they are protected by their privilege - it’s not mobilizing them. I. actually had a friend say “this(ICE, etc) doesn’t affect me so I’m not concerned”. Or “they’re only picking up people who speak out against Israel” Denial? Isolation?
Yes. It is the most important election of our lifetimes. We will find out if the GOP refuses to accept the results of a free and fair election again. Chances are very high that they will steal the election. If this happens, this is the end of democracy in our country.
I have noticed lately the burnout that I feel from the constant flood of chaos and news is also becoming obvious in the MAGA world. And some infuencers and now pushing the the 'truth' that it is ALL FAKE NEWS. Husband and several other MAGA devotees and totally falling fir this dystopian lie. No news, not one channel or news provider is reporting the truth. It is a last ditch effort to make people give up any hope for clarity or action. The death of any information that can be believed. It is spreading like. wildfire.

This November 3, 2026 Midterm Election seems like a nightmare ; trump meddling in our elections, ICE abducting innocent people, DOJ working solely for trump (but NOT for the American people), Supreme Court is decadent due to the repugnicon majority.
