Thanks for checking in on what we'd like to see Monday mornings! I'm a list person so suggested action steps for the week ahead is my cup of tea (or coffee, depending!).
We must continue to build our protest to massive numbers of people who are determined to save America from the amoral administration now in control. We must convince voters it's possible to vote out the repulsive Republicans and replace them with progressive representatives. We must not lose sight of protecting our freedoms, defending our democracy and speaking truth to power. There are millions of us standing against Trump's attempt to be a dictator, but we are facing a well established bastion of oligarchs who are determined their money and position will beat us down. Let us prove them wrong by increasing our numbers to a size so impressive there can be no doubt of our resolve and which side of history our loyalty rests. For honor and integrity are the lights that guide us to protect humanity. We do not give up and will never cry "uncle."
In a reply, I said Boots on the ground would bring a long-overdue revolt. But our country is too big for visible unity- every city in LA has a resistance movement - Venice, Culver City, Sherman Oaks, Torrance, BH, Encino, Malibu, Santa Monica - all just 10 miles from my house. We aren't seen. If we united on the 405 and 10 freeway, we could not be ignored. The system needs to feel the pain.
Is Trump trying to torch the Global-Reserve Status of the U.S. Dollar?
Ignoring that Jerome Powell blocked the investigation into Fed employees who were front running Interest Rate actions in their own accounts.. And that this no doubt emboldened our Judges who Sit on condition of the “Good Behavior Clause” in our Constitution “for the United States of America” (which is the Legal Name of our Republic)..
My question is,
Is it just me, or will Donald Trump appoint a new Fed Chairman (May 15, 2026) who actually supports launching the D-USD (Digital U.S. Dollar)? What would an announcement like that do to BTCUSD? And, if the global Reserve Status of the USD is toast, call it a regional RMB/CNH/CNY, or the ebb and flow of empires; what is the Nominal impact to U.S. GDP?

The No Kings protest scheduled for March 28, a Saturday, isn’t meaningful action. It’s a Fuck Trump block party. Which, by itself, might be a fun thing to do. But it doesn’t result in getting what we want. If it was truly meaningful, the protest would be mid-week in combination with a call for a general strike by every union in the country, particularly the air traffic controllers and flight attendants. And it wouldn’t just be one day. It would be multiple days, maybe even weeks with the goal of shutting down the economy. We need to think of meaningful action as holding the flow of money in this country hostage, to be released only when our demands are met.

Every freeway overpass should be a protest sight. I can take Susnet overpass on the 405.
