We need to make it clear to our local police officials that if they are seen protecting ICE over citizens they will be seen as collaborators with Nazis, and consequences will follow.
If you are retired, go to a complicit store such as Home Depot, fill up a cart with little items and walk out at 2. Other places are Target or Walmart.
Pete Hegseth, a Trump toadie par excellence, is in charge of the DOD, so it seems unlikely the military will do much to actually defend America on its own land. The terror facing us is the fact our enemies are our own administration, not some foreign threat. Empires fall from within, ours will be no different. Hubris in history is a good teacher for all to heed. Americans have discarded history in favor of a know nothing attitude which leads us down the path of repetition. It really is insane to keep doing the same things over and over again, expecting different results. But there you have it.
ICE out in San Antonio was a few hundred people - could have been bigger since SA is usually strong in these but it was organized in short notice. Speakers were powerful. Peaceful protest but a couple of MAGA guys were trying to stir things up. Security kept them at the perimeter.
Each death needs grave markers in each cit during protesting. Flowers and candles can be brought to honor tgeir bravery. Bet they would line the street for blocks.
U duh there's no surprise in the regime's decision to pass on charging a murderer. What private in the army is going to say I refuse to follow an illegal order when hundreds of enlisted and officers have passed on it in the Venezuelan invasion.
What does one expect under an authoritarian regime ( Hitlers Germany is a great example, ICE has been transformed into the Brown shirts and soon to be like the Nazi SS , don’t expect fare elections either , even if there are elections, we already know what DJT will do, only it will be 10 times worse , he has the supreme courts majority, the cowardly GOP in the House and Senate that will gladly support anything he does .
Attended a visibility on a very busy street intersection in downtown Silver Spring, MD (a suburb of D.C.) Maybe 3 dozen people, but we got terrific response from passing motorists.
Doesn’t vacating DOJ positions make it easier for the administration to hire more DOJ flunkies to make it even harder to get back on track with public security and rights? I’m frustrated that just 30 something percent of our population backs Trumps tactics, yet the rest of us struggle with what to do to get us out. I don’t want WW3, but I feel that is where Trump is shoving us. He wants his name in our history books. Think about how much Hitler’s name comes up. We are screwed until our reps pull their heads out of their selfish butts and start doing their jobs. If they continue allow T to do whatever the hell he wants we are headed for civil if not a world war.
We’ve been fearful of Trump instituting the Insurrection Act.
BUT, what if we can turn the tables?

Raleigh, NC, showed up for peaceful protest. Some people came without signs, they just needed to be there and stand united against I.C.E.
