The loss of protections for the Federal Workforce is a big deal. As a retired Civil Servant, I can tell you Civil Service has long been mission-driven and non-partisan. This regime is aiming to take us back to the “spoils” system of the 19th century in which know-nothings are given appointments based on campaign donations and favors.

After the feds finish warehousing immigrants, they will come for Democrats. This is why they are retrofitting all this warehouse property.

I called them concentration camps right from the beginning. The abuses and lack of basic human care in the current camps is now coming to light. I shudder to think of what's in the works for even more. This is so wrong and happening so quickly.

Nothing surprises me anymore. The concentration camps scare me the most. Love, Peace and Justice for all.

We know this administration lies through their teeth so “a staffer posted it” is par for the course, however the red flag is the internal process/ oversight swap. Trump and his minions are doing all they can to quash dissent and free speech.

I am concerned about warehouses being used as intake centers for deportation. Is this why ICE’s budget was $19b and growing? Once the jails are cleared, and once neighborhood abductions slow, who’s next? There always has to be a ‘bad guy’, right? Will it be nationalized American citizens? Americans born without ‘pure white blood’? Women, for whatever reason? Couples who don’t produce children? Women who have had abortions or who are on birth control? Liberal Arts college students? American citizens born abroad to parents? Folks with dual citizenship? American vets? America’s homeless populations? Americans who respond negatively to the administration on social media? Non-Christian citizens? Citizens with mental challenges? Gay and lesbian citizens? Trans citizens? Sounds over the top, but will they really need a reason to house people in these warehouses? They are already getting away with murder.

Woke is a good thing

"Woke," when aligned with empathy and compassion, is defined by many as being aware of social, racial, and political injustices, aimed at fostering a more caring, inclusive, and equitable world. It emphasizes understanding the human behind every story, listening deeply, and actively working to alleviate suffering.

• Awareness & Action: Originally rooted in awareness of racial injustice, "woke" has evolved to represent a broader consciousness of marginalized groups and systemic inequalities.

• Empathy as Strength: Proponents argue that empathy—feeling the pain of others—is not weakness, but rather a strength that guides a desire for a fairer society.

• Compassion in Action: While empathy is feeling the suffering, compassion is the desire to relieve it, and kindness is the action taken to do so. Supporters see this mindset as leading with love and humanity.

Ultimately, being "woke" is a conscious, ongoing effort to recognize one's own biases and to care for the well-being of all people, regardless of their background.

Now, who could possibly oppose such a beneficent course of action? Possibly only those who are filled with anger, hatred, jealousy, envy, paranoia and ignorance.

Say it loud,

I’m woke

And I’m proud!

THEY should try it.

I know it's 2026 but has it yet sunk into Americans that they are the most racist country on the planet? If not, take the blinders off your eyes. TWO HUNDRED AND 50 YEARS of this same old shit and still you refuse to see. Now do you see?

Responsibility rests at the top. If a staffer posted that ape picture, it's the boss of the staffer who's ultimately responsible for it. Duh...

Loss of protection for Federal Workers is a big concern. The WH claim of a staffer making the recist post is just one more lie.

What are we going to do to prevent Trump and his corrupt GOP from destroying our beloved election process?🤔

Is there a game plan to play offense against the authoritarian GOP regime before Nov 2026?🤷‍♂️

I have a modest proposal.💡

How about blue 💙states, after banding together 🤝and after getting voter approval, ✊collecting their constituents ' federal taxes, 🚫💵and holding them in escrow until after the midterm elections?   📈

This proposed plan is

especially valid now that the Supreme Court has blessed proposition 50 in California 👍as legal and Virginia's Supreme Court has approved a similar ballot proposal. While those initiatives dealt with redistricting, they showed that blue 💙states can coordinate their actions to combat an authoritarian GOP effort to suppress voting. ✊Ironically, the proposed "Confederacy of Blue States" actiing in unison 🤝may help preserve our Union and protect our democracy.🗽

All the blue states should act in unison 🤝after a voter initiative, to collect their constituents' federal taxes, and hold them in escrow 🚫💵until after the midterm elections are over and have been conducted fairly, legally and constitutionally. The blue states should make it clear they have every intention of remitting the funds to the Federal Government if the midterms and the results are conducted properly.✅

In other words, threaten  to defund Trump before the midterm elections in order to prevent him from stealing them.✊

While I realize this proposal goes beyond modest, and legally and logistically is extremely difficult, it is now time for the Democratic Party to start thinking outside the box 🤔💡in order to combat Trump and his corrupt anti-democracy GOP sycophants.

If anyone has a better preventative game plan to enact before the midterms , I'd love to hear it.🤷‍♂️

I think that whenever officials have had enough money to build prisons like these, they intend for the buildings to be full. When they run out of immigrants, brown, and Black people to funnel into their huge prisons, they will come for everyone else who do or even may oppose them.
